Getting married at altitude
The mountains offer a light you will not find anywhere else. At dawn it grazes the ridges; at the end of the day it sets the wooden chalet fronts alight and wraps faces in a warm gold. That alpine light is what I watch for, resort after resort, to give your images a depth and a softness that belong to nowhere else.
Snow transforms everything: an immaculate setting, muted contrast, silhouettes cut out against the white. Whether it is a ceremony at altitude, a cocktail on a terrace facing the peaks or an intimate dinner in a Savoyard chalet, I work with the place to bring out its character without ever distorting it.
Mountain conditions — cold, altitude, changeable weather — are not something to improvise with. I come and scout, I anticipate the path of the sun and the weather windows, and I adapt my equipment to stay discreet and quick whatever happens.
